Rev. MB Jalloh's Farm - For Dave.

I had a chance to visit Rev. M.B. Jalloh's farm with M.B. and his son, Abu.  Dave Mayer visited with MB there a few years ago and wanted me to get some pictures.  I was privileged to see it and here is some of what I saw ...

Abu and MB, posing in tandem, on the veranda of the recently-constructed house on the farm site.

Fresh water spring that supplies the farm year-round.

Groundnut (peanuts) being planted by the women, including MB's wife, Musu, on the hillside.
The care-taker.

Looking to the border of MB's farm, across the swamp.
MB, with the house in the background.  Mango tree in foreground.
Musu Jalloh (purple shirt) and children of some of the hired workers in the foreground.

180 palm trees have been planted on 3 acres.

MB standing proudly with a harvest of Mangoes on soil he has worked with his own hands and will maybe retire to soon.
